Cannabliss: Grief + Addiction with Heather Dagley

I recently recorded a podcast episode with [the amazing!] Tori Rerick of Cannabliss the Podcast. Through her Cannabliss platform, Tori hosts candid conversations about how the cannabis plant has positively impacted individual’s wellness and bliss… so you can bet that we had a ton to talk about!

In the episode, we discuss how I have used intentional cannabis use to drive health and happiness in my own life. We also touch on what intentional cannabis really means and how listeners can harness intentional cannabis use to mindfully apply the benefits of cannabis to specific anxieties, ailments, or gaps that have manifested in their own lives.

Tori and I also touch on how cannabis has helped me succeed in my academic endeavors, audit my own alcohol consumption during tough times, and even helped me to get off of anti-depressants earlier this year. And finally, as the episode title suggests, we discuss how cannabis has helped me navigate the substantial grief that came after the loss of a dear friend’s fatal opioid addiction. We then go on to discuss how cannabis can even help people who are working to overcome opioid addiction.

At the end of the episode, Tori provides some additional information, as well as relevant studies, on how opioid addiction can be countered through the administration of cannabis therapy.

Many thanks to Tori for not only inviting me on the show but also using her platform to highlight how cannabis can provide a benefit to people suffering from opioid addiction. Tori’s work, on her podcast and beyond, is beyond inspiring and super relatable. Don’t miss the opportunity to follow her journey on Instagram at both @yourguidetori and @cannablisspodcast.
